D.1. Extended Definition of Economics: It is the scientific study of those aspects of behaviour which are triggered due to the psychological conflict arising from a system of given ends on one hand, and a set of given social and technical conditions on the other.
E.1. It is in one sense the broadest definition of Economics, allowing us to see how our discipline is placed within broader project of social science research. We take as given the ends of the population we study, and also the information about their social conditions and technical as well. This then helps us identify the psychological conflicts that arise, which then help us study the Relative Valuations (See D4 in 1.1.1.). In a sense it opens up the possibility of importing information about the given data from rest of sciences.
